
It's that time of year again! The Sault Cycling Club AGM will be held Monday, Feb 22, 7-9:30pm at Loplops.
Tickets must be purchased before Fri, Feb 19 to attend. They're $15 and will be available at Algoma Bicycle Co., and Velorution. Your ticket provides access to this social event, some healthy appetizers, and the meeting business. It promises to be a fun evening to talk about upcoming plans for the 2010 season.
SCC executive positions are two-year terms. The following positions are up for election this time around. We've indicated where people in positions are interested in returning:
President (open), Mountain bike director (open), Secretary (Jason Luther), and Director-at-large (Paul DeBeer)
*SCC Election reform*: Nominations for positions will be accepted in advance only, until Monday, February 15. Two members (2009) need to nominate an individual. And the nominated individual needs to be an SCC member (and willing to do the position!). If you would like to nominate someone for one of the aforementioned positions -- GREAT! -- please email us through the Club Information page (www.saultcyclingclub.ca) with the names, phone numbers and emails of the 2 nominators and the nominated person.
